Commissioned Paintings

I accept commissions each year and enjoy working with patrons to create a work especially for them. The first step is to become familiar with my painting style and consider the size and subject you are interested in having painted.  We will meet (or talk on the phone) and discuss ideas, after which I will prepare several small color studies of possible paintings.  (These can be sent to you via email.)  If we are talking about a larger work, I will prepare a full or half size pastel study so you can get a preview of what your painting will look like. We'll make any adjustments to the design in the pastel stage. Then,  I will create the final oil painting. Working together this way, we are both assured we will all be very happy with the final painting.
